Happy weekend! Hope it's a lovely one. Looking forward to some used bookstore browsing — something extra cosy when the weather outside is stormy. Enjoy your own.

This beautiful 1898 villa in the Altona district of Hamburg combines the best of old and new, thanks to the refined eye of its owner. In need of a major renovation, new owners Karin Schandorff and husband Jens were careful to preserve such original elements as the stucco, floors and tiles while updating other areas such as the kitchen. Furnished in an international modern style, it's now a truly stunning space. More here on Bo Bedre.
