Happy weekend! Hope it's a lovely one. Planning to go see Iris, the fab new documentary about fashion icon Iris Apfel by Albert Maysles, director of Grey Gardens and Gimme Shelter. Can't wait.

For Jochen Pohlmann and Mathiaas Riedel, their Berlin apartment's bare concrete walls is a return to a more natural way of living — one that embraces materials for what they are, rather than disguising or covering them up. The resulting palette of soft greys is nicely contrasted with rich dark tones here and there — all adding up to a remarkably serene space. More here on Elle Décoration.
