Happy weekend! Hope it's a good one. It's been busy for us here so we're really looking forward to a leisurely Sunday brunch. How about you?

This small Stockholm apartment is so beautifully put together that its lack of space becomes a virtue, allowing the eye to focus on its elegant little details. More here.

I'm fascinated by the work of London-based men's clothing designer Craig Green — his high concept creations shift back and forth between clothing and wearable sculpture. This one reminds me of the costumes worn by Bauhaus students to their 1930s art school parties.

This week's links. Enjoy.
Small Lofts With Big Ideas
Dwell has a great slide show of 7 space-saving lofts that make the most of minimal square footage. Inspiring.
Five Overlooked Silent Films
Really interesting list of lesser known silent films that deserve a look (and sound like they have fascinating histories as well).
Coen Brothers Movies as Gig Posters
This is fun — Little White Lies, an independent UK-based movie magazine, commissioned 7 original silk screen posters from 7 local artists that reimagined classic Coen brothers movies as gig posters. Great design and illustration.
The Top 10 Locked Room Mysteries
From Wilkie Collins to Agatha Christie, thriller writer Adrian McKinty picks his favourite locked room novels. Perfect reading for cold winter nights.
The Forgotten Manor
Absolutely extraordinary Flickr set of UE Furhouse Manor, a grand home abandoned for decades with its entire contents intact, now all quietly mouldering away. It's exactly how I picture the home of Miss Havisham in Great Expectations.
Six Core-Strengthening Exercises
Still feeling a bit blobby after the holidays? Check out these 6 effective exercises designed to tone your core — a series of 15 minute moves inspired by Pilates that you do 3 or 4 days a week.
Victor Hugo: Acclaimed Author, Unknown Furniture Designer
The Paris apartment once occupied by Victor Hugo is now a museum dedicated to his life — including some of his furniture designs. Fascinating photo tour of his very personal (and rather baroque) space.
Winter Minestrone and Garlic Bruschetta
Hearty soups are the perfect comfort food in winter, and this lovely warming recipe is just the thing for cold weather suppers.

Photographer Victoria Will used an early photographic technique called tintype for her portraits of actors attending this year's Sundance Festival, with stunning results. Tintypes are photographs made by printing a positive image onto a thin sheet of metal, and were most popular in the 1860s and 1870s. I love how this technique transforms the subjects — instead of the usual glossy celebrity photos, these are deeply personal portraits of familiar faces. See more on Victoria's website here.

A former post office in Copenhagen is now a beautiful loft-style space for Lotte and Mathieu and their daughter Chloe. Perfect mid century vintage pieces in an elegantly monochromatic setting, enhanced by great art and the odd jewel-toned glass vase. Really love this one. More here on Bolig.

This photo makes me smile every time I see it. Audrey Hepburn and Fred Astaire, photographed by Pierluigi Praturion during the filming of Funny Face, 1957.
